How it works
Add your images and choose to resize by pixels or by percent.
In pixels, fill in a width or a height and the other side follows so the picture is not stretched. Untick the aspect ratio box if a form needs an exact width and height.
Press the button and download the resized files. The format stays the same as the original.
Good to know
Making a picture larger does not add detail. It only stretches the pixels, so enlarged photos look soft.
GIF, BMP and AVIF files are saved as PNG. An animated GIF becomes a single still picture.
To reduce the file size rather than the dimensions, use the image compressor.
Frequently asked questions
How do I resize a photo to an exact size for a form?
Untick "Keep the aspect ratio", then enter both the width and the height. The picture is stretched or squeezed to fit, so crop it first if the shape matters.
Will resizing reduce the file size?
Usually yes, because fewer pixels mean less data. For a smaller file at the same pixel size, use the image compressor.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser and nothing leaves your device.
