Good to know
Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged. Remove the password first.
Merging copies the pages. Interactive form fields, bookmarks and links inside a document may not carry over to the merged file.
Very large files use a lot of memory, so merging hundreds of megabytes may fail on a phone.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to merge confidential documents here?
The files are read and merged by your browser. They are not uploaded, so they never reach a server. You can check this by turning off your internet connection after the page has loaded and merging again.
Can I change the order of the pages?
You can change the order of the files with the arrows. To reorder pages inside one file, split it first with the split tool, then merge the pieces in the order you want.
Is there a limit on the number or size of files?
There is no limit set by the tool, only by the memory of your device. Large merges are better done on a computer.
